Whatnot seller fees in 2026
Whatnot's official help center says each item sold can have two fee types: a commission fee and a payment processing fee. Whatnot does not charge fees to create, store or manage listings.
US, Canada and Australia
For many US, Canada and Australia categories, Whatnot lists an 8% commission on final sale price plus payment processing of 2.9% of total order value plus $0.30. Coins & Money uses a 4% commission. Some categories have a limited-time 0% commission on the portion of eligible orders above $1,500.
UK, EU and Japan
Whatnot lists UK/EU standard commission as 6.67% plus VAT and processing as 2.42% plus a fixed fee plus VAT. Japan uses 8% plus JCT for standard categories and 2.9% plus a fixed fee plus JCT for processing.
Payment processing base
Whatnot states processing is based on total order value, usually including item sale price, buyer-paid shipping and buyer-paid taxes. That means two orders with the same item price can have different processing fees if shipping or tax differs.
