How this calculator works
Offsite Ads can turn a profitable Etsy sale into a thin-margin order. This calculator separates base Etsy fees from the ad fee.
Use 15 percent for most smaller shops and 12 percent when your shop qualifies for the lower mandatory Offsite Ads rate.
Gross Order = Sale Price + Buyer-Paid Shipping
Base Fee = Gross Order × Platform Fee % + Fixed Fee
Extra Cost = Gross Order × Extra %
Profit = Gross Order − Fees − Product Cost − Seller Shipping

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between 12% and 15% Offsite Ads?
Use the rate that applies to your shop status. The calculator is editable, so test both scenarios before pricing.
Are Offsite Ads charged on every Etsy sale?
No. They apply when the sale is attributed to Etsy Offsite Ads. Use 0 for non-Offsite-Ads orders.
Should I raise prices for Offsite Ads?
If Offsite Ads frequently drives orders, model the extra fee and adjust pricing so target margin still holds.
