Every fee rate, benchmark, and market statistic used in our calculators is traceable to an official source. This page lists the primary documentation we use to keep our tools accurate. If you spot a discrepancy, please contact us.

LTVCustomer LTV & Churn Benchmarks

Churn rates and LTV calculations for SaaS and subscription businesses.

Primary sources: ProfitWell (now Stripe) churn benchmark reports, OpenView Partners SaaS benchmarks, and Zuora revenue growth studies.

Formula: LTV = Average Revenue per User (ARPU) ÷ Monthly Churn Rate. This is the standard industry formula for estimating average customer lifetime value.
